Development of a cost calculation tool for timber harvesting operations

The present project aims to improve the cost calculation of contractors and forest workers in South Tyrol. For this purpose a cost calculation tool for harvester/forwarder, chain saw/skidder and chain saw/tower yarder/processor will be developed. In detail the tool will offer the following fuctions: • Pre and post calculation of typical harvesting operations • Create a offert • Operational data of the harvesting operations
