Sustainable Viticulture in Austria

The aim of the project is to support the ‘Österreichischer Weinbauverband’ (ÖWV) and Austrian wine growers during the process to develop a sustainable certification system for the Austrian wine industry. In work package 1 (AP1) criteria are developed with describe sustainability in the wine producing process. For this, extensive research is done in terms of sustainable viticulture programs worldwide and applied categories and criteria.
