GUGLE - Green Urban Gate towards Leadership in sustainable Energy

Cities like Vienna are obliged in achieving energy political targets that follow from the need of collective actions at regional, national & EU levels, of the importance of energy demand side approach, most appropriate in cities and of the need for innovation in sustainable technologies and actions. Although a transition to a more sustainable path is commonly acknowledged it seems quite difficult to change the incumbent system. In order to implement appropriate concepts and strategies for achieving sustainability and for assessing the potential impact of novel clean technologies and measures GUGLE intends to provide scientific responses to questions raised by the topic priorities in the given call.
