Impact of honey bee pollination on plant diversity and revegetation success in alpine, erosive habitats
Abstract
The aim of the project is to study the benefits of honey bee (Apis mellifera carnica AMC) pollination activity for creating and maintaining a divers and locally adapted flora in alpine revegetated habitats. Over a period of 3 years, the pollination activity will be monitored in the Steggraben, a sub-catchment of the catchment Kaponigbaches in der national park community Obervellach (NP Hohe Tauern).
