Drought monitoring system for Austrian agriculture.
Abstract
The aim of the project is to develop and test an operational crop specific drought monitoring and forecasting system for agriculture in Austria. For this purpose a a data base will be established to develop methods for crop drought stress detection. Further a now- and forecasting approach for modelling drought occurrence will be implemented.
