Abstract
In the project an assessment and evaluation of the application of the digital building inventory in Austria will be undertaken, focussing on flood risk management. Furthermore the application of such a procedure in the framework of the EU floods directive (2007/60/EG) will be tested. With respect to the short and long term dynamics of flood risk the challenges and limitations will be highlighted.
