Physical scale model for debris flow net barriers
Abstract
Flexible ring-net barriers are an alternative respectively supplemental mitigation measurement against debris flows. For the design of such ring-net barriers real scale experiments are necessary, since frequency of debris flows is low and potential of damage is very high. The pilot-project analyses the capability of a planned real scale experiment based on a physical model.
