Research Focus
Development of sensors, biosensors and immunosensors dedicated to environmental, clinical and food analysis; nanostructuring of functional surfaces.
Development of Ion selective electrodes for pharmaceutical analysis. · Development of aptasensors for clinical, pharmaceutical and environmental analysis. ·Aluminium alloys surface preparation related to corrosion protection performances improvement. · Studies on surface chemistry of Aluminium alloys after different types of pretreatment, with or without anodization process (TSA and SAA) and also after conversion coatings with organic and inorganic compounds using analytical techniques (Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy (ToF-SIMS), Contact angle, FTIR, Electrochemical methods (Linear Sweep Voltammetry, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy), Salt Spray Test. · Analytical studies concerning environmental pollution using spectrometric, electrometric and chromatographic methods in different fields of analytical chemistry (food, environmental, clinical and pharmaceutical samples). · Studies on sewage sludge processing using environmentally friendly processes (to minimize the energy necessary and to obtain pure chemicals) in the view of potassium and phosphorus recovery. · Studies on influence of different physical chemical parameters on oxychlorine anions species preparation by Electrolysis of Water process containing different NaCl concentration using Bo-ron Doped Diamond Electrodes. · Application of Electrolyzed Water as disinfectant with different purposes (prepared using BDD electrodes).
