Forschungsschwerpunkt

In my research, I deal with current spatial planning and land policy issues and societal challenges. Over the years, I have mainly worked on issues of planning law and land policy instruments at the Vienna University of Technology (affordable housing, value-added tax, second homes, etc.). Currently, my focus is primarily on the normative possibilities of spatial planning to contribute to climate change adaptation. In particular, areas that intersect with flood management and agriculture are being considered here.
