Research Focus
I am an interdisziplinary wildlife ecologist specialized in analytical methods, spatial planning and wildlife management/hunting. Having done my phd in the fields of applied conservation genetics combined with functional connectivity and computer simulations, I more recently advanced into wildlife-oriented land-use planning, including challenges like wind power planning or wildlife ecological spatial planning (WÖRP). My projects and intrests span a wide range of methods, yet are directly mission-driven by practitioners and society.
