Abstract:
The compression condition so far only punctually by complex measurements in the laboratory or with smaller accuracy in the field to be determined there knows, asks them the question about an efficient, planar mapping process. The applicability in principle of geophysical folder ion procedures is to be examined for this pedological question. In addition on conventionally built sport lawns in Austria and Germany comparative pedological and geophysical measurements are accomplished. As geophysical procedures the inductive conductivity measurement with the EM 38 on the one hand, as well as highly dissolving conductivity and soil gas measurements come on the other hand, to the employment. To win, geophysical procedures offer powerful method information about the soil. While driving over the surface which can be examined, the apparent electrical conductivity of the soil is measured. Since this is considerably determined by water content, soil type, solved minerals and compaction, leaves themselves with appropriate reference measurements, statements about these sizes to meet. When community project of the University of Stuttgart -, together with partner organizations a new concept is provided to high home and the University natural resources an applied live sciences Vienna for the production of detailed and non destructive soil maps for the reorganization of sport lawns. Advantages in relation to geophysical mapping conventional procedures: - non destructive working - a very high resolution - small expenditure - additional information about important soil characteristics - high border accuracy - clear representation in maps A goal of the partnership is to be developed a transportable system, which can point fast and economically problem areas out of each sport lawn. It is to be identified possible defective ranges and set by exact position indications measures of reorganization there.
