The goal of this work, 150 genotypes of a soybean-gene bank assortment of the maturity group 000-III, based on the selected features: maturity time, plant height, seed color, hilum color, of the hilum outgoing discoloration, thousand grain weight, protein content, oil content as well as protein- and oil content; to classify and by means of different methods (cluster analysis / Dendrogram; PCA), whose genetic distance and / or resemblance to represent / dissimilarity. Therefore interesting groups can be formed for the breeding and increase the diversity in this maturity group area as new parents. The trial location was Groß Enzersdorf. The experiment was designed as a generalized lattice design in form of a 30 x 5 lattice within 2 replications. Following are the results of the survey: In the feature protein content, which is the decisive quality criterion in Europe, 31 genotypes reach a content of more than 420 g/kg dry matter. The protein- and oil content is over 620 g/kg dry matter in 4 genotypes. In black seed coat soybean, the oil content is around 20 g/kg dry matter higher than in yellow seed coat sorts. The thousand grain weight of the assortment sways between 108 and 289 g and is in the means about 154 g. The plant height is in the average about 58 cm, the maturity time (into days after the 31 July) in the means in 41 days. By means of the generated dendrograms, genotypes can be divided into a multitude of similar / unlike groups. Individualists with extremely interesting features are also clearly evident. The PCA expels the same distances, with the advantage that sorts with significant ingredients are able to be localized. A large number of extremely interesting genotypes occurs thoroughly, above all concerning the features protein content and thousand grain weight. The next step includes, testing the sorts regarding its yield capacity. High yielding genotypes with favourable seed quality could be used for crossing.
