Mission Statement

The Institute of Forest Entomology, Forest Pathology and Forest Protection is responsible in teaching and research on the biology, ecology, and genetics of forest insects and other animals, plants or micro-organisms which damage trees and wood as well as their natural enemies. Furthermore, it is responsible in teaching and research on all aspects of forest protection and wood preservation.
