Forschungsschwerpunkt
In her research, Claudia Gusenbauer focuses on the fully bio-based design of new materials. Nanoscale structures, such as cellulose nanocrystals, play a central role in the development of completely bio-based wood coatings. A key aspect of her work is the application of high-resolution microscopy techniques, especially Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), which enables the detailed analysis of the chemical and structural properties of natural materials at the nanoscale.
