Abstract
Online-monitoring of bark beetles as a part of the LIFE project "Naturwald, Moore und Lebensraumverbund im Ausseerland". The collected data are used to develop a risk assesment model for outbreaks of Ips typographus in this area. Furthermore, the study will enlarge our knowledge about abiotic and biotic factors regulating the development and the population dynamics of this aggressive spruce bark beetle.
