Operational Services to Sustain the MARS Crop Yield Forecasting System Lot 2: Acquisition and Processing of Satellite Data

Lot2 of MARSOP6 concerns the delivery of remote sensing (RS) data to support the MARS Crop Yield Forecasting System (MCYFS) in the coming four years. BOKU will deliver the global and dekadal (S10) images of MODIS, smoothed with the Whittaker filter and projected to WGS84-Lon/Lat at 500m resolution. At this level, BOKU will also be responsible for all scientific issues and preliminary tests.
