Abstract
A two stage constructed wetland, consisting of a horizontal subsurface flow bed followed by a vertical flow bed - both with intermittent loading - was designed and built to treat the wastewater of a small hospital (60 beds) in Dhulikhel/Nepal. The investigations include water analysis, bacteriological investigations and tracer studies.
