Albino plant formation in cereals.

The project investigates the involvement of plastid genome in the formation of albino plants during microspore culture, which is a major limitation of this technique in cereals. Besides deletions of plastid DNA, which are found in many albino plants, typical alterations of plastid gene expression are investigated.
