Abstract
L-Lysine is considered as an essential amino acid for animal production but cannot be produced by animals themselves. A cheap method for Lysine production is the use of food industry by-products. In this project 9 different strains of microorganisms are tested on different types of sugar and different by-products under different environmental conditions to find out the best system concerning technical and cost aspects.
