Aquakultur von Tilapia (Oreochromis Niloticus) in speziellen Netzgehegen (BOMOSAs).
Abstract
The aim of the project is to apply cage culture in semi - intensive ponds and temporary water bodies to improve the yields of nile tilapia (O. niloticus) in rural areas. Specific objectives are the testing of different stock densities and feeding strategies for applied conditions. BOMOSAs will be tested under different water conditions in rural areas. Support from the fish farm SAGANA (Kenya) has to be developed. Specific needs for fish growing in the different locations will be investigated.
