Drinking water treatment for very small water utilities from deep groundwater aquifers

Development of appropriate treatment technologies for very small water utilities using deep groundwater aquifers (> 100 deep) with high concentrations for ammonia and nitrite. At a case study of a very small water utility (30 people) appropriate water treatment technology will be developed to ensure high quality drinking water when using deep ground water, which is quite common in some regions of Upper Austria and Lower Austria.
