Abstract
The objective of the consumption measurement on a day basis in combination with an end use study is to forecast future water demand. The early detection of change in the water demand enables supply utilities to adapt in time and to integrate adaption into existing renovation programs. Thus reliability of the water supply is increased and supply utilities are provided with extra time for planning and implementation of adaptation.
