Auswirkungsindikatoren des Programms der Ländlichen Entwicklung 2007-2013 in Österreich

The Austrian strategy plan for the development of rural regions aims at a multifunctional, sustainable and competitive agricultural and forestry sectors in vital rural regions. We apply economic methods to measure and evaluate the partly visible effects of the program for rural development in the period 2007-2013. Performance and effect indicators are central in the analysis to particularly measure economic growth and employment in Austrian rural regions. It shall be accomplished by coupling the agricultural PASMA and the macro-economic MultiREG model to quantify regional flows and spillovers triggered by the program.
