Abstract

Die Begriffe UV-Strahlung und Ozonschicht haben in den letzten Jahren sowohl in der Wissenschaft, als auch in der Öffentlichkeit stark an Bedeutung gewonnen. Seit Endecktung des starken jährlichen Abbaus der Ozokonzentration in der Straosspähre und der damit verbundenen Erhöhung der UV-Strahlung an der Erdoberfläche wurden verstärkt Untersuchungen über die Auswirkungen für das Leben auf der Erde durchgeführt. Auch anhand der Messungen des Instituts für Meteorologie und Physik der letzten 5 Jahre am Sonnblick, konnte ein Rückgang des atmosphärischen Ozons nachgewiesen werden. Um die weitere Entwicklung der stratosphärischen Ozonkonzentragion und der UVB-Strahlung zu erfassen und auf Basis der gemessenen Trends und von Untersuchungen über kausale Zusammenhänge zwischen atmospährischer Dynamik und Ozonanahme einerseits und Ozoanbbau und UVB-Zunahme andererseits die Relevanz dieser Entwicklung für die Zukunft abschätzen zu können, ist es notwendig, die Veränderungen der atmosphärischen Parameter Ozon und UVB genau und längerfristig zu messen und zu analysieren.
