Niche markets for recreational and environmental services from multiple production systems.
Abstract
The main objective is to show the way for market solutions and strategies for various forest outputs, which are presently considered to be not or hardly marketable. Public goods are seen as under dynamic conditions, where marketability is to a big extent a matter of product and framework development. This is a new scientific approach in comparison to neo-classic economic theory (market failure calculations and state intervention). New is also the multidisciplinary solution to the problem: economics, marketing, law, policy science and forestry.
