Abstract
The research project investigates the applicability of hydro-acoustic 2D telemetry in the River Danube downstream of the power plant Freudenau. The aim of the study is to record detection rates and positioning accuracies of hydro-acoustic telemetry transmitters under different environmental conditions. The study is designed as a feasibility study for a comprehensive research project on migration routes of adult cyprinids.
