Digitalisation and Innovation Laboratory in Agricultural Sciences - Agronomy
Abstract
At BOKU experimental stations in Tulln and Groß-Enzersdorf many experiments with field crops are conducted. By digitalisation of field crop experiments, data obtained by traditional observation methods can be combined with sensor or satellite based data in order to better understand processes in the plant-soil system. On the long run, digitalisation methods shall (partly) replace the traditional methods for field crop experiments and support an efficient management of crops in experiments and on farm.
