Forest and game management Grünau/Klaus - wildlife modul
Abstract
For the evaluation of the influence of game on the forest regeneration situation, it is important to characterize the regeneration potential, the silvicultural requirements (stand structures; canopy and light conditions, ground vegetation, etc.) and the game influence. This should enable the establishment and development of the factors influencing regeneration to be differentiated from those of the game. Possibilities and added value through the combination of terrestrial surveys and remote sensing techniques are developed. Furthermore, the combination of forest structure, forest regeneration and ground vegetation provide an important basis for decision-making for assessing the quality and bearing capacity of the habitat. Recommendations for forest and game management. based on the scientific and research-relevant basis should be derived
