CLARINET (Contaminated Land Rehabilitation Network for Environmental Technologies)
Abstract
Within this concerted, action the state of the art in risk assessment, risk management, and risk communication is mapped for the European Union and based on these findings, a concept for a safe management of contaminated sites is developed. Moreover, Clarinet identifies gaps of knowledge in the respective subjects and, as a consequence, defines research topics for European framework programmes. It also stimulates international cooperation in research and administration dealing with contaminated land.
