New Options for Resilient Measures for human health and well-being in the construction industry under climate change in Austria (Norm) - BOKU-Met contribution
Abstract
The transdisciplinary project NORM systematically examines the Austrian regulations, laws and standards for open spaces and interiors in relation to human health and well-being. The most representative urban typologies and open space structures are simulated (microclimate, building physics) based on climate scenarios to understand future conditions and their impact on human health and well-being. A policy guide is elaborated in order to adapt and complement existing regulations, laws and standards step by step and incorporate and promote climate resilience in urban design
