Abstract
The project includes studies on the effect of the microsporidian pathogen Vairomorpha lymantriae on the host-parasitoid system Lymantria - Glyptapanteles liparidis with special emphasis on the physiological interactions between the pathogen and the endoparasitic larvae. Furthermore, vectoring of the pathogen and acceptance of infected hosts by the female parasitoid will be investigated.
