Environmental Education with GPS
Abstract
Teenagers are difficult to reach by traditional methods of environmental education, as there are few methods that appeal to this target group. Within the frame of this project, new methods that base on the technique of GPS (Global Positioning System) are developed. An evaluation of these methods in comparison to other methods of environmental education gives an overview about the acceptance of this medium. A critical analysis of the GPS-technique with respect to its appropriateness for environmental education is conducted.
