Abstract
Savings on transport packaging:
The aim of this project is to work with food producers, logistics companies and wholesalers to find ways to reduce transport packaging. For this purpose, the requirements for material and safety as well as in the area of the supply chain will be determined. After researching the state of the art technologies in the packaging sector, we will develop attractive approaches for saving transport packaging in several workshops with at least 10 participating companies. Through mutual exchange and the presentation of best practice examples, the companies should also learn from each other.
Through the one-time merger of food producers, wholesalers and logistics service providers, new packaging solutions can not be developed from scratch, which bring savings effects throughout the entire value-added process, but also existing solutions can be tested for their practical suitability.
The developed solution proposals are passed on to the companies via our extensive communication portal.
