- Abstract
- The Project "Greening Schäffergasse" will provide new insights in easily applicable building green in the housing sector and in expectable effects.
Scientific monitoring data will be generated and will give new insights in the funcionality and performance of building green for microclimatic effectiveness and energy household.
A potential assessment of the building structure will allow for framing the conditions of the vegetation technologies. Fact sheets will build the basis for the scientific onite survey of the microclimate effectiveness.
The generated data will provide scientifically publicable responds to following research questions:
How can building green be integrated in the architecture of the object Schäffergasse to ensure a sustainable plant growth?
Which microclimatic effects can be expected and how can they be optimised?
How is the mid-term plant growth to be assessed regarding plant growth and biomass, shading index, LAI and transmissivity?
Which parameters will dominate the water balance? Which ET-rates can be achieved?
How does the building green impact the energy household and the thermal comfort?
The recorded data will further allow the verification of the externally provided GreenPass simulation.
