- Abstract
- The planned research project aims at comparing and adopting recycling strategies from Europe and small countries in the Caribbean, which are facing additional challenges like a smaller amount of e-waste in geographically remote and scattered locations (islands), limited access to recycling technologies and to markets for secondary resources as well as lacking policies and regulations. In this context, other solutions may be more viable than the typical approaches in European countries.
