Abstract
ForestNavigator will develop a medium complexity operational Policy Modeling Toolbox, capable of addressing the challenges posed by climate change impacts on coupled ecological and socioeconomic systems, and it will derive optimal mitigation strategies towards climate neutrality without compromising biodiversity or human prosperity. This part of the project (WP 1) will map and engage stakeholder groups via a series of workshops, where they will provide input to the various components of the project. The stakeholder analysis conducted will include the mapping, categorization and identification of relationships (Raum, Ecosyst. Serv. 2018). The mapping will start from stakeholders who already expressed their interest in the project during the proposal phase and develop an exploratory analysis to maximize the coverage of interests, geographic and demographic balance, via semi-structured interviews and document reviews.
