- Abstract
- The aim of INReS² is to create a prototypical, web-based application for planning integrative, decentralised and green-blue precipitation management systems. The planning recommendations will respond to the individual project parameters. These include, for example, the size and type of area to be drained, the runoff coefficient, the soil properties and possible infiltration capacity, the available infiltration area, the design precipitation and other microclimatic auxiliary variables. In addition, the toolbox will address the specific requirements of the users by taking into account special preferences regarding aesthetics, ecology, improvement of the microclimate and, last but not least, costs. An extensive, BIM-compatible database with relevant components and systems from different manufacturers forms the basis of the web application. For this purpose, existing BIM models from different manufacturers will be integrated into the prototype database and expanded to include the relevant parameters of rainwater management. The creation of various business models and the analysis of suitable financing instruments will ensure the long-term operation of the toolbox.
