- Abstract
- Installation of a UV-broad-band sensor on the Sonnblick observatory and of a spectrophotometer in the Viennese region. These instruments will be incorporated in the Austrian UV-monitoring net. Without connection to this UV-net, the influence of air pollution on the the UVB-stress is to be studied, because of the spectral dependance between air quality and UVB-stress. The transmittance of harmfull UVB-radiation is higher in clean air than in polluted air, and enhanced UV-radiation leads in return to an increase in photochamical reactions.
