Effects of direct and indirect influences on forest ecosystems in Austria - an ecosystem based approach concerning the convention of biological diversity.
Abstract
A literature review, interviews and round-table discussions with experts are used to document direct and indirect influences on the biological diversity of forest ecosystems. The classification and assessment of influences are used to describe the effects on maintainance and enhancement of biological diversity.
