- Abstract
- In the EU framework of ¿rural development¿ about 57% of promotions have been accounted for forestry road network planning. The goal compliance of road constructions is evaluated in the course of half-time evaluation where open questions have to be clarified:
Have economic, ecological and social effects of the forest been improved by the road network?
Have work conditions and safety been improved by the activities of sustainable forest management and have rationalization effects been noticed.
By using a Delphi opinion poll criteria and indicators for the evaluation of effects of forestry network planning will be defined. For the evaluation 48 forest roads built in the time period from 1995-1999 are surveyed. The results will be implemented in a database to provide a controlling instrument for future projects.
