Abstract
Clostridia are spore-forming bacteria that are responsible for the spoilage of feed and food products. The aim of this project is to investigate factors that can influence growth or sporulation of Clostridia or show inhibitory effects. Of particular interest are the secondary metabolites of lactic acid bacteria, especially bacteriocins.
