Floodrisk - Analysis of the flood event from August 2002. Scientific coordination of the project.
Abstract
The aim of the project FloodRisk is the dokumentation and analysis of the flood event from August 2002 in Austria. The final report includes an expertise and strategic synthesis of the single reports form the meteorolgy, hydrography, geomorphology, landuse planning, naturale risk prevention, damage balance, surface dedication and the legal frame. The final report also includes a analysis of the causes and makes a proposal for future improvements ("lessons learned").
