Compilation of a concept for the exhibition "Donau - Fluch & Segen" of the provincial archive of Lower Austria in Ardagger 2010
Abstract
In 2010, the exhibition "Donau - Fluch & Segen, Umwelt Donau: Blick in eine andere Geschichte" of the Provincial Archive Lower Austria takes place at the Danube River in Ardagger (Lower Austria). In the framework of a scientific design, the following works have to be conducted: 1. compilation of a detailed concept for the topics: historical changes of the river landscape, floods, transportation, navigation, fish ecology and fishing, Machland floodplains and channalization/hydropower plant construction 2. selection and description of the objects shown in the exhibition, authoring of texts for the objects 3. compilation of room concepts for the individual topics 4. generation of main exhibition objects such as a flood simulation 1812, visualization of a digital terrain model of the river landscape in 1812 and a large walk-in map of the historical river landscape 5. authoring of articles for the catalog of the exhibition
