Abstract
Since several years the Österreichische Bundesforste (ÖBf) has been offering guided tours through the biosphere reserve Wienerwald with different topics for school groups. Aim of the project is to evaluate one of these tours – “the Biosphere Reserve Experience Tour”.
To guarantee a comprehensive evaluation different target groups will be involved: participating pupils, teachers and forest educators who guide the tours. The pupils evaluate the tour promptly after the participation and six month later to identify possible variations in their evaluation. The teachers evaluate the educational dimension of the tour. Data gathering is based on questionnaires.
