Abstract
The aim of this work is to establish analytical workflows for yeast cell wall characterization. The strategy will follow enzymatic digestion combined with LC-MS. Enzymatic digestion procedures using different protocols will be implemented in order to obtain characteristic fractions of the cell wall. We will attempt to perform quantitative measurements of main yeast cell wall compounds and try to relate them to pathogen binding.
