CC - Land - Prognosis - Integrated Landscape Prognosis under the Influence of Climate change - Meteorological Part
Abstract
Recent scenarios of climate change and expert opinion for agriculture document both positive and negative effects. For the development of an adapted national climate policy it is crucial to understand how climate change policies and expert based scenarios are perceived by farmers. Their intended behaviour will be captured in a stated choice sur-vey based on adapted agro-economic models. Given the fact that Austrian rural land-scapes are highly multifunctional we will apply the findings in a transdisciplinary stake-holder process, in which the empirical findings of the models will be visualized in GIS and photorealistic images for stakeholder evaluation in regional workshops. The trans-disciplinary approach will highlight the complex interactions of multiple regulatory in-struments such as climate policy and agricultural subsidies.
