Abstract
An integrated assessment framework is developed and applied to analyze climate change mitigation and adaptation options in the Austrian agricultural and forestry sectors. Synergies and trade-offs between alternative mitigation and adaptation measures in both sectors are assessed as well as their effects on regional economies and ecosystem services using a broad set of indicators. The integrated assessment framework couples disciplinary data and models towards an interdisciplinary scenario analysis approach to better account for feedbacks between eco- and societal systems as well as direct and indirect effects of climate and land uses policies at regional and national scales.
