Abstract
The hydroelectric power plant Reidmühle at the Thaya river has been restorated. In the frame of the restoration a bypass-system which enables the downstream migration of fish has been intalled. migrating fish are diverted through a pipe from the impondment upstream to downstream river sections. At the lower end of the pipe a trap will be installed to collect downstream migrating individuals
