Abstract
Residues from biorefinery processes often contain a significant amount of fibrous cellulosic material. This project part will investigate the amount of cellulose present after specific processing. The cellulose will be isolated, fibrillated, and characterised. Finally, material properties of the obtained nanocellulose will be evaluated and compared to reference materials in order to assess potential perspectives for application.
