The transition of the Austrian energy system to a high penetration of wind energy: modeling the Austrian wind energy system
Abstract
TransWind assesses how the transition of the Austrian energy system to a high penetration of wind energy can be successfully managed. On the basis of stakeholder dialogues and an integrated assessment the key issues of social acceptance will be identified. With a reliable conceptual and methodological approach mastered by modelling and visualisation efforts, TransWind is able to go beyond traditional mitigation studies as it provides an inter- and transdisciplinary cross-level analyses.
